nature has provided food to all in the shape of living beings only. Animals and plants both are living beings. The plants, trees all have life like men and animals and bear the same pain. There is natural food chain. even the plants eat insects as food. There are many varieties of plants and trees that are non vegetarian. In the ultimate analysis, there is no basic difference between vegetarian and non vegetarian food. Again, milk and honey are also not vegetarian as these are obtained from living creatures.
As regards cruelty to animals, this should not be seen only in context of food. We also use many items like belts, shoes, brief cases, garments made of leather.

I too agree that there is a food chain. But we need not kill a cow to get milk.We need not axe a tree to get flowers and fruits.

In any angle, non-veg food is not natural food for human.
It is human, who is misusing his intelligence for the wrong cause. Best part of it is he manufactures number of logics for supporting his case.

Man is intelligent. While other animals go according to instinct, man is inventive in every respect. It is obvious that human living style is very far from nature.

Vegetarians do not eat meat but non vegetarians eat meat as well as vegetarian food. Non veg food has also some unique benefits. Nobody takes only non veg. Thus non vegetarians get benefit of both: Veg and non veg. Vegetarianism is more a matter of religious faith than health.
