I think Hindi is the most spoken language in India. I have no idea about the second most spoken language though. :unsure:

Yes French is at 10th spot while the Bengali is much above the ladder. :) Bengali is spoken in Bengal and Bangla Desh so this is natural that it has more than 150 million people who speak it.
