Hi Sanjeev Gupta,As you want to know that what is rational number, here is answer as-"A number that can be written as a simple fraction known as A rational number(i.e. as a ratio).
example:- 2.5 is a rational number because 2.5 = 5/2"
example:- 2.5 is a rational number because 2.5 = 5/2"

hehehehe today only in the morning i was studying number system and there was rational number too.
Rational numbers are those numbers which can be expressed in the form of p/q where p and q are integers and q is not equal to 0.
And recurring decimals and terminating decimals are also called rational numbers.
