Corruption can lose all its root if the people stop giving money to corrupt officials but all will agree that it is not possible in a country with significantly less literacy rate.
People need to be enlightened and educated about this problem and how this can dig a hole in the development of the nation.
Very true , an enlightened population is less likely to be brainwashed by the politicians. However , no institution or party should be autonomous including CBI because it can lead to autocracy . I feel that there should be a system where each institution is governed by regulatory bodies and good or bad , the media has been doing a good job in highlighting issues that are relevant.

Yes, India is a corrupt nation.
It has been for years and new people with political background whether or not in the government when they gain power because of the flawed system it cannot be determined who truly is the culprit.
It always comes out to be the system in one way or another.
Knowing that the government is influencing these aspects makes them corrupt in the eyes of citizens.
Hence, it gives citizens a sense of hope that the system cannot be changed by these leaders.
Yes India is corrupt country. Corruption is life line of politician and bureauracy. Politicians are not interested in control corruption. If India will control corruption people never think to join politics.
Why blame only politicians? If corruption is increasing, both the givers and takers are responsible for it. The politicians and bureaucrats take bribe because we the public are ever ready to give bribes, thereby encouraging corruption.
It is a case of hen or the egg ? Which came first ? Similarly who started corruption? The people or the politicians?
