    There are many confused details which dont tally and also the fact that he was being tortured by the inmates has made his death very controversial now..


    Some more improbabilities are, the window grill is located at a height of 10 feet. He hanged himself with his shirt. All the other inmates of the cell are sleeping. The number of inmates is constantly varying. His lawyer who spoke with him a few hours before the suicide that Ram singh doesn't have a reason to commit suicide.


    Yes that is one of the details that the lawyer was talking about.Apparently the culprit was feeling sorry for what he had done and was ready to face the consequences ...however, how long the entire process would have taken is anybody's guess ! :dry:

    Tonight, Delhi gang rape main accused Ram singh committed suicide in strict Tihar jail security. This has raised many doubts about condition in jail. Also this needs be seen what happens to other accused in the case.


    I wonder how persons (accused) can commit suicide in jails especially in Tihar. Officials should take some neccessary actions to make ensure no such incidents happen in future.

    To avoid people making assumptions, this could have been avoided. At least hereafter, there should not bey any such incidents.

    Even if we do not know complete facts, these facts are obvious.

    (1) The accused died an unnatural death- by hanging.
    (2) Jail authorities are responsible for security of inmates
    (3) Jail authorities failed in their job miserably. They are this guilty of either murder or facilitation of suicide.
