Rambabu, Indian Government has clearly explained that no law can have name of any individual. Our constituency laws have no provisions for this.

Its the suggestion. Not a decision.

Ofcourse, it is a suggestion which can not be converted into decision just because our constituency laws do not agree.

Well that's an altogether different proposition.
Apparently, Shashi Tharoor is more home with america than India. Once he wanted that national anthem be played the American style. Now law be named american style. Perhaps he may work better in America than India.
Rules are rules, if government itself break the rules then what about the public, thinking this I don't think they will do this

already laws are there in thousands. what we lack is their implementation :silly: :silly:
why everything is so slow here?

yesterday a similar case occurred in Tamil Nadu. Victim is a plus two girl and it occurred in a private bus at day time. When she was thrown away from bus, she phoned to her family from a public bhooth and they came to take her to hospital. When police took a lot of time to arrest the rapists, public protested it.
This is horrible people still are mocking at the law here  . Hope to see some improvement after the rapists get punishment.

Shashi Taroor is an intellectual and his thinking and views may never be appreciated by the Indian public because of its directness since we are used to thinking something and saying something else....I don't see anything wrong in his statement.Instead of naming everything either Nehru, Rajeev or Indira , why not give some importance to people who have lost their lives because of the law makers laxity ?I feel Shashi Taroor has a point there ...
Instead of giving name to the new law its important to punish fast those criminal.
