After having managef to get exempted from all je other cases he was facing , Salman Khan has finally been found guilty in the Black buck case after 20 years . He has been sentenced to 5 years of jail term... Of course he will appeal and also move the courts to get a bail etc etc and try his level best to escape even here. Let s hope that the justice system.does not let itself down anymore ..

I feel that power of money over rides everything. Earlier in the hit and run case Salman's father Salim had boasted that after having spent 20 crores , it is only fair that the case against his son gets dropped. We have to reflect on human greed and lack of ethics in our society that makes people like Salim and Salman take full advantage of this weakness to their advantage ..

He is free unlike others mentioned by Sunil because he is a celebrity and heartthrob for millions. And it restores and re consolidates our faith in the failure of our failed system...."Power and money has not lost it's sheen in our country".
I was shocked the way one of the news channels showed a four -five year old not eating anything till he got a bail. i was aghast the way the parent went with such a stupid story for publicity. What a shame ?? If such an young mind is poisoned like that for publicity stunt. I wish parents would have told stories of armed personnels, social workers and other ordinary people who struggle and live each day. A four year old should have better role models than Salman Khan. The futile useless story of this girl got so much of publicity.
Yikes! How stupid of the parents and the girl! It just goes on to show how flaky and superficial people have become. It looks like young people (exceptions of course) have no morals or ethics left and will do anything for misguided things!
Coming back to the topic , I am at a loss as to the length to which our Bollywood crowd goes to defend it's own , right or wrong and their double standards regarding every issue that concerns the society . The other day they gathered together to protest against Kathua rape case but remained silent when two young Hindu girls were brutally raped and killed in Assam and against Salman Khan when he killed, poached and ran amok...
I am watching so many actors holding a similar placard (I am ashamed to be Indian - I am Hindustan etc) with amazement. Aren't they ashamed of what they have been doing off and on screen or what examples are they setting for the younger generations? I think some of these actors set provocative and vulgar trends in young generation that tries to copy them in real life. The TV Channels that keep challenging government for decreasing behavior should look at their adverts which they show for money (the latest being Sunny Leony posing for a contraceptive in a way that she is already famous for in online world). May I ask these actors that what they have done for the society in real life apart from standing with a placard especially when they are in need of publicity or their movie is about to be released?

I am sure there are enough number of liberals ready to pounce at you for that...lol...it is blasphemy to even say anything about them because they are a cut above the rest and can literally get away with anything , even murder !

The entire film industry stand together and don't want to displease anyone. Their preachings and concerns are only for happenings in outside world. They brush it under the carpet if it happens in their world. They take a diplomatic stand and refuse to comment or protest. For them their business is above everything. They are happy that he is free as the industry has invested so much on his upcoming films

That is the ultimate hypocrisy of these so-called 'stars'. Actually these people are the ones who always appear in public speaking in English with foreign accents and when they do speak Hindi, it is with a horrible vocabulary laced with English words more than Hindi words and almost always never call our country Hindustan but only as India, but here the placards are pointedly printed with words Hindustan. The very roles these idiots play are so provocative and probably inflame youngsters to hold fantasies that are violent and sexually aggressive. And they are the ones spouting such utter nonsense.

While it is good to see them come down to earth once in a while , it s on selective issues. The majority still lives in an illusionary world where they think their opinion really matters ..a few rare ones do cone up with sensible observations but the rest only look after their own interests. A responsible mature lady like Jaya Bachhan shedding tears in the parliament when Sanjay Dutt was sentenced was a pathetic sight and she did it again when Salman Khan was sentenced but the fellow now thanks to our judiciary is strutting about and roaming free ..
I am surprised not a single one moved in similar cases happening regularly

There is a long list of such incidents but not a single actor came forward. Probably the concerned party did not see vote bank politics in these cases.

See! All the liberals and seculars are so silent over these cases but it is only because these cases involve people from the most peaceful religion in the world and the perpetrators are innocent, so God forgive them as they know not what they are doing. It is little girls who have sinned so why would Bollywood celebrities and liberal presstitutes waste their precious time on these girls who so obviously belong to an aggressive religion that is the Hindus!

Guru Gobind Singh when he lifted the sword against the Moguls said " if all else fails its righteous to draw the sword". Hindus were slaves for 900 years because they failed to fight the Moslems or pick up the sword. Field Marshal Montgomery in his history of warfare has said Hindus lacked fanaticism and will and were defeated evfytime. Sadly it continues. Bjp or congress, one and same thing.
MG Singh wrote:We should not forget Salman Khan is tried under Indian law and everything is legal. He did not take law in his own hand.
When there are wicked minds with money, power and political contacts it is not difficult to manipulate the system and thats what Salman and his father Salim have done. They have got rid of witnesses and paid off some and made sure there is no evidence left , so the courts have had no other go but to leave him out. But life has a way of evening out injustice , an action is bound to get a reaction , if not now at some later stage ..
