    Shalu Joseph- Indeed Agra police have stopped wasting time on such things. They act only when some extra income is required. Yesterday a lady reporter visited many many police stations or posts just to verify whether they would help a woman victim of sexual harassment. She told everywhere that some youth had teased her. The police authorities did not help her because they do not waste time and energy on petty matters.

    According to our hindu mythology, pre-marital sex is treated a crime. Not only this, before marriage, any sort of physical contact is unacceptable in society.

    This will surely bring westrn culture in the society, which cannot be accepted by common man!

    In our religion also it is a crime.But how many cares the religious orders now? (I am true follower.)

    Dipti. Institution of marriage has been created to regulate family affairs and premarital or extra marital sex is against social norms. But it is for individuals to voluntarily go by social norms. If any adults act voluntarily in private against social norms, law will not interfere. Freedom includes freedom to do the wrong also. For example, cigarette smoking is bad but I am free to smoke as long as I do not annoy others.
