nah its nothing like that..i once slept in my contact lenses..but nothing happened when i woke up.

It is not that it will blind you but it CAN blind you, there are chances to blind.

However there are many reasons as in sleep we may not know what happen and if the contact lens breaks or sometime due to rupture eyeball get damage. So, try to avoid that situation next time @DEVEN

Yes it can harm, but eyes are very delicate, so there may be more chances of blinding
