We must adopt this culture from west.There none of the parents pressurize their children to aim as per their wish.Focuss is always there on the all round development and there is scope in every field you think of.Even if a person is having interest in animals he can opt for career in those fields.Similarly any area whether it is sports, engineering,teaching,photography, administrative jobs,music or fashion designing, there is huge scope now a days.

One can identify his skills and interest and can decide accordingly which area he can give his best efforts to get the maximum returns.These things are being illustrated through few movies like 3 Idiots and Taare Zamin Par.

Well i think children need freedom in expressing there interests and views otherwise parents couldnt understand what they want to be. It is also good to give independence in choosing their career as they are the ones who have to carry the studies etc.

It's true as far as the mature students are concerned. I have seen too many promising students' careers ruined under parental pressure!

Parental pressure is the main problem that students face now.It should be eradicated.

We should allow children to go according to their interest in career so that they will be successful in their life.But some parents force their children to go according to the parents choice, but children will go due to the fear of parents in their parents choosen career but they never be self satisfied in their life.
