Actually second word is used very less when compared to present modern english

Actually people are aware of such words but they get confused and do spelling mistakes. Many of us does not know the proper pronunciation. We do mistake in that too.

Disease is 'feeling uneasy'. Just split: Dis + ease
Decease is ceasing to exist meaning death.

A disease is like an infection in our body and decease means when some one passes away.
