A language changes from place to place and generation to generation. The Indian languages like Hindi are not uniformly spoken throughout India. Local usage and slangs msake the difference. There are variants of English language. American English differs from British in spellings and usage. Indians have also contributed to modification of English language. Indian English is also called Hinglish. However, British English is considered more standard. Americal English is also gaining polpularity. Many spell colour as color. Guy is used instead of boy.

Color is most popular in the computer terminology. You will never find Colour but find color :)

Swetha Thanks for supporting my comments on Indian contribution to English language. In fact, english is international because of Asians and Africans especially Indians.
