Undoubtedly Jagjit Singh was ghazal maestro who made ghazal popular and brought it to masses. And so many of his ghazals were a part of Bollywood movies that he became a household name when it comes to ghazals in India. He surely has left a lot in his legacy for generations to enjoy.

Jagjit Sing, sing some old movie song. Lara Lappa Lara Lappa Lai Rakhda, it is song Punjabi flavour.
I remember one more from old days. His duet with Lata Mangeshkar-- Dono ke Dil hai mazboor pyar me, Hum kya kare meri Jaaan tum kya karo.
It is one of my favorite romantic numbers.

One Punjabi song sung by Jagjit Singh is much popular in my area. This song may be dirty for some one , but it popular one.. Dhai Din Na Jawani Nal Chadi Kurti Mal Mal Di.
