Utpal Dutt was indeed a great artist. He had worked in some fabulous Bengali movies and theatres too. I think, no audience will speak against his acting skill. One may like someone else more than him but no one would reject him outright. He was very vocal against the system of West Bengal during his time which got portrayed in his theaters.

Very true. . I gave seen many of UtpalDutt's Stage plays arranged by Local Probasi Club, while I was working as PRO in Rourkela Steel Plant years ago. The Secretary Local Probasi Club, Probir Sur was my close friend. The reason was I myself a stage actor. .Besides Utpal Dutt's Movies, I had the opportunity of seeing Utpal Dut' Stage plays
