Working together works. When both the government and the people work together a country tastes the fruits of success. It is these core values on which a successful government works. Both the people and the Government join hands. It is the government's responsibility to see that all its endeavors are directed to involve the people in all its activities. It is needless to say that this exercise of working together warrants for mutual trust. It is this type of government I want to see,
The opposition is shouting and disturbing the parliament work on baseless issues. The issues raised by congress can be solved by discussion, but congress don't want that there will be some work in the parliament. Now public of India is watching all these activities of the opposition, and also the public want that there should be some work done in parliament. Over 15 k people have launched a campaign urging lawmakers to allow parliament to function.

Today let me explain affect of generation change on political events. The capitalist economy is subject to cyclical changes of boom and depression arising from over and under production. similarly, generation gap brings change in political prospects of political parties. It is well said that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. So when a political party is in power for ten or fifteen years, various scams are discovered. The party gets discredited. It is possible that the opposition party could also have similar record. But owing to generation gap, there would have emerged leadership of new generation and old discredited leadership would have either died or retired. so new political party comes to power. Again the cycle is repeated. for some time euphoria continues. People have hope from new leadership of the current ruling party. Full cycle will turn in ten or fifteen years and scam of the new outfit will appear. The leadership will be discredited. The previous ruling party leadership would also have changed owing to generation gap and so again change of power. There is generation gap of voters also The young voters are aware of misdeeds of current leadership but they know little about performance of the previous ruling party now in opposition.

The British left our country, but still we are not free. We have now become the slaves of our own democracy and its dirty politics. Selfishness rules us. Selfishness leads to corruption. Power and position encourage the path of corruption. They know how to steal and how to escape. And corruption continues incessantly….. We don’t need such leaders…. We need dedicated leaders who work for the nation and for the well-being of the people.… I hope that time is not distant….. It will happen; it is the hope and confidence of a billion.….
The political space in India is mostly occupied by the BJP and Congress especially at the national level though many regional parties are increasing their influence. At the moment BJP and Congress are locked in a fierce battle of one up man ship trying to out score each other. This has affected the legislation business of the Parliament adversely. However sooner than later this logjam will come to an end. As has happened many times in the past both will come together and pass important Bills like GST for national good and then start fighting again. The battle is for winning the support of the voters for long term as pursuit of power is a legitimate political goal in a vibrant democracy like India. It would be wrong to be pessimistic about political scenario in India because democracy has a way of instilling sense in the politicians from time to time.
In the Current political scenario you see everywhere dereliction of duties, and responsibilities assigned to the elected representatives. Rampant nepotism is strikingly visible. In a democracy politicians are the representatives of the people appointed as custodians of the people to safeguard their interests and welfare. Instead, one will see in every sphere of life politicians acting in a way which is not in tune with the set norms of democracy. This is a deplorable state of condition.
I want to see our politicians appointed by the people should remember this fact and rise up to the people's expectations.
Members from both opposition party and ruling party are blaming each other and doing nothing. Congress put allegations on BJP for what its members are doing in present and in return BJP put allegations on Congress for what it had done in the past. We have only seen fighting scenes in the parliament instead of any progressive work. In this monsoon session parliament has not functioned properly even for a single day and today is the last day of the current session. Today also Congress seems not in a mood to allow the parliament operate properly.
Some strict rules should be formed so that parliament would function properly and bills like GST which are very important for the growth of our country will be passes at priority.

You like or not, politics is the most dominant career. That is why some I.A.S. officers chose to resign and jooin politics. Ms. Meira Kumar, daughter of Late Jagjivan Ram, a prominent leader in post independence period. But most youth don't select politics as a career. This is not considered gentleman job. Hence the field is free for unscrupulous and corrupt elements. It is futile to blame the malpractices in politics when the 'honest', 'clean' and 'pious' remain aloof from politics. There can be no vacuum. Unless good people join politics, bad will dominate the political field.
There is no subsitute for overall public interest and consciousness among common people. There is need for proper political education not only for politicians but also for voters. Apart from caste, personality cult and other narrow tendencies, there is also rise in 'committed voters';. committed voters are mentally enslaved to particular political party and will normally vote for that party only. It is only the non committed voters who can take judicious decision. Needless to say that the big army of political workers are by their vary nature 'committed voters'. But the non political voters need to be non committed and work for a political party judicially. Personally, I am non committed and consequently voted for all major political parties in different elections.

Religion is the greatest motive power of human being. Politicians take advantage of it and convert beliefs into vote banks. When politics and religion join hands together, humanity divides. They separate human relations with walls and fences of hatred and resentment. Enmity and communal riots prevail. It is a devastating trend……..But, both politics and religion are the Belief Systems of the people. And I think people in India will never have a relief from them; one resides in their mind while the other conquers their soul…… The mind should be in communion with the soul and that will lead to peace and harmony.
