This amounts to gross carelessness of the people. Additionally law enforcing authorities failed to create a fear of punishment in the road users.

Ya it can't be fully eliminated but may be reduced if we make and follow strict laws against such people.

Severe punishments without the facilities like Appealing to the courts will certainly eliminate the corruption.
We have bad temper, bad roads, more people, more vehicles. This has cumulative effect.

Yes sir it is the sum total of all BADS which account for Bad roads.
Surprisingly, in the last session Govt. of India introduced road safety bill which was opposed by road transport companies backed by self revived opposition parties.
