24 Telengana students drowned in sudden release of water from a dam in HP. Very sad. Condolences to the affected families. Once again insensitivity in devising alert systems to save lives. Life is cheap in India because we are so many in numbers.Sad
YES. When the commodity is abundant, prices fall down. It's true for lives also.
But alert systems will still not be installed. This is because accountability is not there.[/quote
Accountability is a non existent term in the lexicon of governmental schemes.In addition to this deaf and dumb docile attitude of the public..
It is the responsibility of authorities to take all actions to save living beings from mishaps if they are preventable, but greater responsibility is of people to ensure these are implemented.
Yes. People should be the partners with the governance. After all it's democracy.
Or demoneycracy?
