No doubt, in this time and age, Chankya-Neeti will not work as it used to. Now you have to keep your enemy in your own camp to tackle him better. Stronger the enemy (I suppose, it's being used in sense of a rival) more you need to understand his modus operandy. The best way to tackle your enemy is- do your best.

In the proverbs or quotes we see some aspects in them that reflect the contemporary conditions in which the author has created. If Royalty enemy killing peep through Chanakya’s saying, It would be Motors and cylinders in the expressions we use to indicate the functioning of a Machine or a Man. The same phrase ‘killer instinct’, if turned in to contemporary situation, it would be, ‘Firing on all cylinders or Hitting on all cylinders’.
All of them say, ‘Making every possible effort’ or ‘Not leaving any stone unturned.’ Nothing less or nothing more

Yes these expressions could be considered an adaptation of Chanakya-Neeti. Also, 'do or die', 'give it everything you got', 'fight till your last breath'.

Yes never start something that you cannot finish. If you start something pour all your energy into finishing it. Incomplete work breeds incompetence.

People say 'I leave no stone unturned to get to the root of the problem'
I say, I kick the stones on my way so neither the stones are left nor the root remains.

Certainly. This killer instinct can be see in every achiever. Without this, one cannot achieve what he wants.

I agree. I had no such instinct as a college student. But I acquired this killer instinct while in government service and thereafter I have been achieving and performing whatever I attempt.
