Indians are becoming worst. It is we who are increasing corruption and crime in the society by motivating the politicians to spread it further. This is the future of democracy. Corrupt people needs corrupt politicians to run the country. We are not honest so our ministers are not honest.

I agree. Therfe is a proverb- People get the government they deserve. Corrupt will get only corrupt government. The rulers represent people. How can clean and honest be representative of the corrupt people?

It will start spreading to other parts of the country as well...There is such a lot of unrest and a feeling of injustice against the political class that a revolt is not far off...Any small incident can ignite a massive revolt, our country is now moving towards it ...

Unless the politicians change their acts quickly, we are going to have a revolt, and it is high time for a major one. Corruption, crime, violence has increased manifolds with severe inflation and no respite in sight for common people. I only wonder how much longer the wait is! :blink:

Politics has spoiled everybody's mind. The lust for power and position can make anybody do anything. Nobody has control on their activities and also the language. It is like - "Do anything to get everything."

right from the days of struggle for freedom, when we were taught to break rules at whatever cost and the practice was encouraged by many esteemed and honourable leaders, it is not surprise that the political scenario has snowballed to such gross and uncouth politics. Also like Usha already mentioned, most of the MPs are hardened criminals, lack of proper and serious education etc. how can we expect a respectable and serious debates between opposing parties? Since they lack civility, such angry abuses and mud slinging is the only way they can have a go at each others' throats!~ :blink:
