Food, clothing, shelter and sex are basic needs. All needs are money related. You pay for casual sex in a brothel. Marriage is also nothing but legalized prostitution. Money is involved everywhere. It is okay to earn money and use this for your needs. This will make no news. It is only when you indulge in unlawful and socially unacceptable activities including corruption and moral turpitude, that news is made.
Sorry sir I am agree with you that marriage is legalized prostitution. For we Indian marriage is holy relation. It is relation between two family and two souls. for me marriage is beautiful relation. For some reason if either partner will not fit for sex they never seprate on this ground. They cooperat with each other in this situation.
When marriage is for real companionship, this is genuine. But in most case, this is like a job. Traditionally, marrying a girl is considered a duty. They say this is Hath peele karana (to color the hands yellow). Marriage is for livelihood and not genuine love. A prostitute has many customers. But a wife has one life long customer. So how is this not legalized prostitution. Here I am excluding the self dependent women who do not depend on marriage for their livelihood.
It is not right sir marriage is for livelihood and not genuine love. Wife and husband also have genuine love. Hate peele karana is a way expressing that we want to get married. It is in fashion only in rural area

I am confused, I thought wife had one permanent MURGA to cut whenever she liked, repeatedly. BAR BAR LAGATAR. But certainly I do not like wife being compared with a >>>>> whether or not you like my comment. For me she is my better half and just imagine the situation if wives also though that man is her permanent lifelong slave, it would have killed the value of institution of marriage. We would have gone back to jungle age when it was free for all or might was right.

If man depended on his wife for his livelihood with no other occupation or way out, wife could definitely consider him as life long slave. There are also male prostitutes though they are fewer in number.
