Gulshan,I discussed about corporal punishment which some of the teachers hand out to the student and under the Right to Education Act it is banned and has been made punishable.

Thanks for enlightening Chinmoy. Many teachers inflict corporal punishment very severewly. It is okay that this is banned in the right to Education Act. Any way, the punishment should never be cruel and angrily inflicted.

The right to Education Act has been formally made effective. But there are financial problems. U.P. Chief Mnister has expressed inability to provide funds required for the scheme and asked Centre to provide full finance for the scheme.

Yes Deepti.. Its really a shameful state for UP.. CM of UP has money to waste on statues, but not for children's education. Its irony of our country, these cheat and corrupt politicians are using funds for their benefits and vested interests.

This is very much shameful move. Inspite of this, she recently approved a plan for special police force to protect statues. She feared that her political opponents might demolish the statues!!!!

She has enough funds to indulge in her fads and fetishes but not for development of the class she claims to represent.Even her statues are not amused!!
