Come on now, promises are made to break- "Kasme vade have no values. If some one trusts them seriously should do it own risk.

No i totally disagree with your response as never make such promise on this site or your beloved as it show your mentatlily.

But there are situations too when we can't keep our promises and break them and that too may be for good reasons. :)

Suppose some one made a promise and later found it not worth keeping, what is bad about it if broken. I like it that way. Not keeping a bad promise is better than keeping it to give a bad result at a later stage.

Exactly one cannot keep promise if he/she feels that its not worth to keep but that's not bad in my opinion one should change as per the situation. :)
Some times I regret promises made by me in heat of moment. But I always keep promises. If I fail to perform, my word will lose value. If you keep promise, you may lose some money or time but if you dishonor your own promise, your integrity and character fades and reliability ends.

And that is the main reason I don't do promises as most of the time I can't keep it.

The fact is one should do promises only when he/she is able to keep them. :)

that's why I told never commit in over excitement :cheer:
Promises can be made, I believe so.....but it should never be a hasty decision. Promises can keep us away from evil things, also, help to attain more mind control

Excatly hasty decisions are always painful one should think before taking any decisions. Decisions should be like one should not repent for it later. :)

These are both Urdu words. 'Kasam' means 'oath' and 'vada' means 'promise' The plural form is Kasme and Vade.

We will make promises but we will fail to follow so only we should not keep any commitment and hurt others.

Oath is Shapath in Hindi like a president takes when he made president and promise is wada in Hindi which we all do in our lives. :)
Sapath is different from Promise we all know about Sapath Grahan samaroh for Prime minister and ministers and what they do after promises.
