    Politicians have placed a good argument with regard to lack of funds availability. Now incurring loss of Rs. 10000-Rs. 12500 cr is share follishness. I don't support this act of the government. They could have choosen some other way out to the problem.

    I do not support this type of bandhs. But I do not believe that the loss is so big as stated. In fact, the loss is notional. The financial activities come to standstill for a day. But these are resumed just next day so that what you could not do on Bandh day, you do next day. Also, many plan things early and do the previous day what they would do the next day but for Bandh. In fact, this is like blood donation. Your blood is taken out at the time of donation but this is recouped soon and your body is normal. Exactly this is about Bandh.

    But I pity those who depend only on daily earning and their volume of businss cannot be recouped. This is Riksha pullers, tea shops, auto drivers etc. Thery are the worst losers.

    Vegetables won't stay alive for more than 2 days :huh: :huh:
    Only poor people will suffer...
    Nowadays all business deals are occurring through teleconferencing, voice chats and mobiles. So, I think, only poor and middle class people will suffer

    What is the affect of Bharat Bandh. Despite the Bandh and Mamata's pull out, Central government is onward move of 'reform'.

    In fact, Congress/ UPA though sad is relieved on Mamata's exit. This relief is similar to one that you get after vomiting.

    Mulayam participated in Bharat Bandh. But he will support UPA government for sake of keeping away communal elements ( meaning BJP) from power.
