We have just passed that 'power cut' phase...as we got rain!!!
Yet, full day time, frequent power cuts, saying road work and change of posts!!!

Even in south India at our location, 6 hour power cut. as rains started in other reasons around our location so now little ok. There is no much power cut

They have withdrawn this order now and would not be applicable. So need not worry but power supply is not enough.

I am worried for my kids actually they are in UP presently and it would have been better if this decision was followed. :laugh:

They too have an invertor but it never gets fully charged as electricity just come there for 10~11 hours in whole 24 hours. :evil:

Here the role of generator begins, send them with enough diesel. That is short here. :laugh: :laugh:

But though have inverter, we can manage for few hours. after the charging in the inverter completes then we need to suffer again

Generally power goes for 2-3 hours and back up om ny inverter is 8-10 hours but I have a generator also for emergency purpose.

These days every place in North India is bearing hot waves and its more irrittaing that government is not able to provide electricity to the consumers as per their demand. :evil: Recently it was declared that in UP shops and other commercial areas will remain closed till 7:00 PM and will open after 11:00 AM in the morning so that the electricity saved from this can be compensated for domestic region but on the next day only it was cancelled. :laugh: Don't you think these politicians take decisions so early and take back after they get opposed for it. :dry: :blink:
I think that the decision taken was correct as some measure need be taken to save electricity. But on pressure by business lobby, the decision was reversed.
