A nation lives as much in the present as in the past and our glorious past is relflected thorough these monuments which we must preserve and protect!
So true! In fact the ancient monuments of any country are evidences of its glorious and rich traditions and are a heritage of its culture. The fact actually is that so much less money is spent on preserving the monuments than is required that so many monuments, beautiful temples and forts are literally falling to dust. instead of stopping this already-so-negligible amounts, the unbelievably huge amounts of money that is offered to various temple shrines around the country can be diverted to provide basic necessities to the poor!

We are notorious for displaying neglect and inadequate appreciation of our past.It is really painful when the people and countries all over are trying to discover and re-discover India and her age-old civilization, we are asking ourselves if we should spend more or less on our invaluable monuments!!

Our monuments should be preserved by the government. the money in many things of government are been collected and taken by the people who are working under government if those money are been taken and spent on the poor and our country then our country will be better than the USA country which is now known as the best country in the world

The whole world is made from the people so try to improve the life of the people not a momunment.
Both have it individual importance it is good that government should show concern for poor and side by side help in protecting our monuments.
