There is one more involving Guwahati-Puri Express and this is being attributed to a blast! What mindless violence!
We all have to stand have a 2 minutes a silent standing to have heaven to the deadly ones so sad to hear the news
It was very tragic incident happened. Government and public should try to help each other from the great mishap being occured.
The number of such accidents are rise in Indian Railways and the portfolio is being currently held by the Prime Minister. He must take appropriate steps to ensure the safety of rail passengers!
The death toll which was initially put at 35 has climbed up to 65 with scoresof people injured!
The worst incident, I fell vary bad to hear this news..
I think that Govt should not always be blamed for these accidents although safety is their responsibility. It can happen with one person that is the driver or the line man/signal man being absent minded at some point of time.

The same happens in case of Road accidents where no one blames the system for it.
Why all these type of accidents happen in Uttar pradesh I think there may be some reason that will expose in future.
Such accident do happen elsewhere too but we have to guard against human failures and use of latest technology can go a long way in preventing them!
Mukesh- Government is definitely to blame for such incidents. Safety is of paramount importance. You will find the slogan- Safety first, speed afterwards- on roads. This is true for railway also. There is greater need for more safety gadgets in all railway trains, engines, railway crossings. The system of unguarded or unmanned railway crossings must go. signalling system needs be updated. Everything else- speed, food, comfort- comes next to safety.
What is observed from the past is that the government or the railway authorities routinely form committees to look into the causes which go on to make recommendations and I doubt if these recommendations are at all implemented with all seriousness!
The death toll in the train mishap is increasing day by day.Really a sorrowful situation.
