The J & K MLA would not normally take any food by announcing. His beef party was a reaction. Nobody generally makes a public announcement of what he is going to eat. But the miscreants will spy and find out what you eat and then harass, beat or kill you. even if you don't eat meat, they will spread rumour and kill as they did in Dadri.
Even if beef eaters opt for low profile, the BJP. RSS will not let the theme die. Now there is another suggestion from saffron chief. It is okay to drink coe blood but not to slaughter. Hegot hint from Kenya. Now let him assure all that mere drawl of blood and drinking will not invite wrath of the saffron brigade.

It was not reaction it was over reaction only to thrilled not beef eaters. Every one have right what to eat but what is need to show it.
Saffron brigade represents majority of this country and had it not been for this outfit the majority community would have suffered even worse than they are doing today. And this is all because of few vote hungry so-called seculars. They will go down to any length to prove the majority sentiments wrong.

I agree with you Anil. Whosoever is at the helm of affairs, hasn't got any right to come to my dining table and check what I'm eating.
What a pity, there are agitations, arguments, counter arguments on the food people eat in this country, where it is difficult to get a morsel of food.
He is right in what he says and we have to take it in every context possible, If pork is eaten with Muslims or in a Muslim home will they like it , similarly we have to respect the sentiments of those who are against eating beef ...If we can respect their sentiments how does this become fascist ? The problem with some people and the so called secular brigade is that they are perpetually picking holes with regard to Hindu customs and sentiments marginalising them and making a major issue ..much ado about nothing!
Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!
The boring topics if infrastructure, economy, jobs, health etc are now replaced by the interesting topics of beef, pork, cow, buffalo, etc. Someone has surely succeeded in diverting attention of the self styled intellectuals to these important topics.
You're eating beef openly and perhaps appeasing sentiments of a particular community. This is limit of vote catching technique of CPI which has nothing to do with Indian ideology.
It is however a fact hat intolerance is rising in India and it is not because of any one factor but because of many different issues coming together.Media too is responsible of blowing things out of proportion and the political parties especially with the kind of opposition parties we have, we dont need any enemies to the nation, they are worse than our traditional enemy Pakistan in many respects .They will not let any progressive step to be taken, keep on and on about non issues ,verbally abusing the Prime Minister and the other ministers for the flimsiest of reasons...

For every person who wants no one to eat beef, there is another who wants choice to eat whatever he wants to eat. Thus this war between no choice and choice will be fought till one side gives in. Which side shall it be only time will tell. @ Suni51 am I right that beef is not banned in West Bengal? Because if it is not then there was no need for the beef party.

Thereis no need for such party. But I don't know how can either Trinmool or Left gain by this. The organizers simply expressed their dissent on interference with peoples' food habits. It is also stated in the link that the organizers also provided sweets and veg items for vegetarians. It appears that beef is not an issue in Wst Bengal Cow slaughter is not banned in the state. The Hindus are also not sensitive on the issue. Otherwise the Left parties would not arrange such party for fear of reaction of Hindu majority in the state.

Eating is certainly a personal thing. I eat whatever I like. But forcing my eating habits on others is the last thing I do. Who am I to force or ridicule my food habits on others. Even my wife has different food habits quite different from that of mine. She eats whatever she likes and I eat whatever I like.
