Normally, age gap of five years is okay. But there can not be same yardstick for all. Compatibility is more important. Our mental age is not always same as real or chronological age. an older person may be young at hear and in attitude whereas a younger person could be more mature. There are old persons in age group of sixty years and above who are more at home with younger persons and not compatible to their own age group. Here age gap of even twenty years will be okay.

I don't think that age gap matters for a couple to be happy.
The only thing that needs is understanding and love between them.
