We all have seen in this country India especially that they don't treat women as human or their wife as human. Men thinks that have buyed some sort of a thing called as wife and they start using and treating them as a thing not as a human

Men are more in number so the Minister thought about vote bank and opined against her own gender. She forgot that women are getting educated and they will not accept any disgraceful opinion as well as men who are considerate by nature will not accept this disgrace because they are not just husbands but adorn many other relationships as fathers, brothers, friends, sons and many more. The fact is what else can we expect from a political leader!

If women often disagree physical relationship with their husbands, they will depend other ladies for this. Women need to understand the psychology of men that sex is one of the essential things in men's life. So it is better to co-operate with them, otherwise the situation will be more dangerous.

What are you talking about? Are we leaving in a modern era? Are we not educated? Your view makes me feel that men do not want wives in marriage rather the wives need to act as prostitutes.

Thats why I say Ms Menaka Gandhi's statement was wrong. Somebody must take her up on this and I feel an act like in the USA must be brought in parliament for marital rape. Unfortunately it is so common in the rural areas and poor women suffer.

Rape is rape- marital or extra marital. But then there are some issues involved. Now rape is replaced by sexual assault.  This is a gender free concept. Ont only man, woman can also be charged with sexual assault.  In case of extra marital affairs, it is easier to establish that a woman has been sexually assaulted. But this is difficult in family environment.  How are you going to establish that sex is without consent.  There can be no witness in such case. How a woman will prove that she did not consent. will she raise an alarm and invite neighbors to witness that she has or is being sexually assaulted by her husband. Or will both spouses need to sign affidavit duly notarized every time they indulge in sex to provide documentary evidence of consensual sex.

This is the age old adage where a woman is supposed to hold on o her man through hook or crook...Honestly to think that even today some women think on those lines is indeed sad and disappointing !

Unfortunately for many women they have no choice even on today's age.
