DELHI IS UNSAFE FOR WOMEN

No comments on “DELHI IS UNSAFE FOR WOMEN”

The Crime Rate against women not only in Delhi but in the whole NCR region is alarming. In fact, women are more unsafe in NOIDA than in Delhi. It has grown rapidly in the past few years.
Yes, there is an increasing problem for pedestrians in some parts of Delhi as plan types have been changed. In newer roads, number of subways is definitely less. Also, not only this, the
rate of traffic accidents is increasing at an alarming rate across the nation.

alt

But I don't think we should politicise this and escape it.It is not about Congress or BJP.Its a serious problem, and it is coming up!People need to be aware of these problems and must
support any government steps or NGOs to tackle these problems.Women crime can be reduced by basic effective intelligence of people present at the moment of crime, and also by the
guts of witnesses.

This tendency among the rich and spoilt youth of raping women and girls, needs to be discouraged by the people as a whole! apart from the above, delhi is also unsafe regards to safety,
murders, rapes, loots, hooliganism etc, daily on an average there is a news of such incident in start news!!

alt

In my opinion, delhi girls are mostly behind a rich guy and delhi guys are always behind every girl they see on road/office n etc.no doubt most of the North girls are hot and sexy and specially
in this winter season, climate is on cloud-9.i heard terrace sex/emergency exits sex in call centers are more in Delhi/gurgaon and Noida as many used condoms are seen, and this kind of
having SEX is very high compare to other cities ,so are Girls innocent??

Yes it is right, most of the family do not allow females to travel or migrate in North as they are tend to get spoil geting mix with local females. In Chennai and Bangalore, (people men and women) can easily roam around most well known places at night. Thats not the case with Delhi. Calcutta was good, but is probably getting worse.A Delhi girl's sex education begins on the public bus. Reasons(physical manhandling on a public bus) very well known to all of us. No matter how  conservatively a girl dresses, there seems to be no reason why she shouldn't be considered fair game in Delhi by stalkers.

Problem lies with the fact that the city has no set values as a people.Since Delhi is an open society where people move in from all parts of the country, there is no social accountability. You are not afraid of being socially ostracized for your behavior. Moreover in north India, prevailing mindset among males is such that they believe they can control women physically. But then again POLICE ADMINISTRATION can set certain strict examples which can ensure in the reduction of such notoriety of delhi as a "Rape Capital".

And other thing is that DELHI NOIDA GAZIABAD GURGAON Metros are easliy covered by tv channels.how can we forget the incidence in mumbai crowd  of over 100 men openly molested a woman. Atleast this can never happen in Delhi.

Usually every day a single case of rape is reported in every city area of India. So it is wrong to say delhi alone. I guess cultyrallt we are so weak now and that is why these things are happening. One thing is for sure crimes rates are high because of poverty, and thst is because of illettracy, and that is because of politicians not doing anything for country but for their pockets

"Maybe it is more of the open attitude that attributes to it. As in the modern, dressing sense of Delhi females that invites trouble!" it is very strange to blame openness of women for such crimes.
West is more open than any society of india but that doesn't give them a reason for such things.

HOW TO DRIVE A CAR

HOW TO DRIVE A CAR:

There are many types of vehicles you can learn, there are certain specific steps when driving a normal car.

amazing-cars_copy_copy

One should need a professional training from the driving institutes before driving a car. However if this is not possible then take help of the one who is a careful driver and has been driving for a while.

  • First thing one should observe when they step in into the driving seat is the floorboard having three pedals. By studying this simple diagram you can understand easily.

clutch_copy

Picture Describing --  1.Clutch   2.Brake   3.Accelerator from Left.

And the next thing one should know is the gearshift which will show you where the gears are. We use the gears for increasing and decreasing the acceleration.

1st gear for moving the car

2nd gear for accelerating from 0 mph – 30 mph

3rd gear for accelerating from 30 mph -50 mph

4th and 5th are for cruising at constant speed.

  • First one should apply the gear to put the car into motion. And in practice one can understand the shifting of gears easily. By studying this diagram we can understand easily how the gear system will be.

And make sure that the parking break is engaged and the car is on flat surface. And then press the clutch pedal down and shift the gear to neutral. Check the rear view and side mirrors.

1. Start the car.

2. Keeping the clutch pedal down, put the car into first gear on the left-top position and    apply foot break and release the parking break.

3. Release the foot break slowly when you’re ready to move the car.

4. Release the clutch pedal slowly, when you hear the engine is slow down then slowly press the accelerator as you release the clutch. Then the car will start to move forward

5. Now accelerate until the car reached 20 mph and press down the clutch pedal and shift to second gear i.e. on the left-down position. Be sure to pull the gearshift until it can’t move further.

6. Repeat the gear shifting process at each time until you are driving at the appropriate speed. (Third gear is up and to the right; and fourth gear is down all the way)

7. When you want to decrease the speed downshift the clutch and release the accelerator slowly and shift the gear to neutral and then through the next lower-gear.

8. To stop the car down-shift the gears to the second gear and by applying breaks, apply the clutch before the car stops. Don’t down-shift to first gear.

9. Drive in reverse by following the same steps. So, be sure to release the clutch slowly and apply the accelerator as soon as the car begins to move.

Tips:

  • Wear your seat belt.
  • Check the rear view and side mirrors.
  • Stay within the speed limits and avoid jumping lanes.
  • It’s not necessary to put into neutral at junctions and signals. However if your stopping the car for few minutes then put into neutral.
  • Use an indicator while crossing lanes.
  • Be extra careful while reversing.
  • Drive slowly in rainy season; break repeatedly after you come out of water.
  • Practice makes perfect.

Warnings:

  • The best way to start driving is first choose a patient friend who knows how to drive and practice with him in a large empty ground.
  • Never shift to low gears at high speeds (i.e. moving to 1st gear in 50 mph)
  • You need to learn about road signs and markings.
  • Avoid distractions.(like talking on phone, drinking & eating, turning your head to talk with a passenger or for watching a scenery, tuning radio)
  • Remember when you park a car leave it in gear then apply parking break. Always park your car in parking slots never park your car in front of houses.
  • Last important thing to note: Don’t drink and drive. you could kill yourself or someone else.
Learn all these tips and suggestions. Keep them in mind always. Have a safe drive. Enjoye your ride.

We are in ladies restroom!!!!!

No comments on “We are in ladies restroom!!!!!”

Hello people.. hows life??.. yesterday i was reading some of my older posts about my hostel and school days.. i was lost in memories. So i thought maybe i should post something more about my school days..

This is a small incident that happened with me and one of my classmate called Vivek. But before I start with my story, I think I should tell you this. Our school campus was shared by another women’s college. And due to some lack of classrooms, the college had occupied some of the classrooms in the 2nd floor of our school building. That is where my hostel room was. And that is exactly the floor where the hostel toilet was. Now, how this toilet thing works is like this. During working hours, it’s a normal toilet. Everyone uses it. Those college girls included. After 4pm and on holidays , it becomes the Hostel toilet. Only the hostel students use it. And we hostel students would use only the ladies toilet because it had water supply and the other one did not (we need water to take bath and stuffs man.. ).

alt

I don’t exactly remember, but I think we had some special class or something. It was a holiday for rest of the school. There was no trace of any college girls in the building either. But we saw some of them outside in the ground practicing some dance or something on the stage. Who cares. I was in canteen having breakfast when this guy Vivek came in. After I was done eating, we both left for the class. We had to cross the playground to get the Canteen from our school building, and it was raining the last night. When we reached the class, the teacher hadn’t arrived yet. So I thought, I could use the time to go n wash my legs, cos it was all muddy muddy.. plus I had to take something from my room. A pen or notebook I assume. I don’t remember. I took vivek along with me to my room, took whatever I needed and went to toilet to wash my legs. The ‘hostel’ toilet. (c’mon, it was a holiday…).. the toilet isn’t like, you open the door and you enter the toilet. The entrance is like a small chamber. You need to make couple of sharp turn and that’s when you enter the toilet. So the point is, it takes at least 3 to 4 seconds to enter the toilet from the corridor. I was washing my legs and vivek was standing idle.

And suddenly we heard the noise. Atleast 15 to 20 girls. Running into the toilet. We threw each other a frightened look. There was no escape, there was no way we could exit the toilet now. Wasting no time, we both ran into one of the bathrooms and closed the door. I was so scared that I could feel my balls up in my throat. I remember praying, “please, don’t knock this door.. not this one, not this one..” ..both of us were standing real still. I remember him whispering into my ears in a scared voice. “maatno, TC dhaan da. “.. after couple of minutes, the worst thing happened. Someone was trying to open the door. No, not knocking. FORCING the door open. I thought my heart was gonna jump out of its place. At that moment, its very very difficult to think. But I did a thing that saved our asses.. The very reason why we were trapped like this. I opened the tap and let the water flow. Full force. I heard a voice say, “somebody is in there”… and I replied in my mind.. “yes bitches.. we are in here..”.. I was opening and closing the tap at regular intervals. We were waiting for more than 15 minutes. But it seems like eternity. After all the voices and footsteps faded away, I bent down, and through the gap between the door and the floor I peeked outside. It was difficult to see, but I could make out that no one was there. I slowly opened the door and stepped outside. Coast was clear. I’m usually pretty lazy. I always double think about doing anything that involves more than 5 secs of work. But at that point, i ran to the classroom, vivek right behind me. I can easily tell you, that was the fastest run I’ve ever made in my whole life.

Sitting in the classroom, I was totally out of breath. Because I had run after a long time.(I can’t even remember the last time I ran) but mostly because of the adventure that we went through, if I can call it that. After a couple of hours, after the shock had settled down, I was thinking how did I ever land up in such a mess. Now I could remember what those girls were taking. Holy mother of god!!!! I’v seen guys using a lot of profanity. Yes, even I speak bad words. But what the hell. this was way too much.. the way they were speaking was 10 times worse than what I cud could ever come up with. This might be hard to believe, but trust me.

Courage is the wheel of life

“I am a dog chasing ignorance,” said an ugly man who roamed in the streets of Athens barefooted. Yet, the rulers of Athens trembled at the mere name of the men. He was Socrates.

One day, he saw a notice that said Socrates was a criminal. His crime? He had encouraged the son of a trader to study philosophy. The punishment was death. Socrates was 70 years old at the time. He laughed and said, “I have faced life with courage. I will face death also with the same courage.” “It is not a crime to give knowledge. The problem is not how to escape death, but how to save oneself from crime.” Saying this, Socrates drank a cup full of poison. He died but his courage taught others a lesson. Today, nobody remembers the persons who sentenced him to death. But everyone remembers Socrates.

Courage is the Wheel of life. It makes life go forward. Progress can be made only with the help of courage. Many years ago man used to hunt in jungles. He used to live in caves. But man has progressed by means of his courage and hard work, life has become more comfortable. Today, man has measured the depths of the deepest oceans and climbed the highest mountains. Of course, man faced failure several times before he met with success. But he did not give up.

If you don’t have the strength to start a certain job or the courage to face difficulties, how will you shape your future? Many great people, weak in body but strong in mind, have shown the people the right path. They have led the way in removing evil practices in society. All men have two arms. But it takes a strong pair of arms to overthrow powerful rulers. At the root of all this is courage. The brave do not wait for company. They are ready to go ahead alone. They have their conscience and courage with them.

There was a time when nobody knew Mahatma Gandhi. As a young citizen of India, he went to England to study. In those days, an Indian was no better than a dog in the eyes of the white men. One day, Gandhiji bought a train ticket and got into a coach. In the same coach was a white man. He could not bear the thought of having to travel with a black man. He ordered Gandhiji to sit in another coach. Gandhiji refused to budge. People tried to push him out by force. But he clung on to the door.

alt

He was prepared to die, but he was not prepared to accept the insult. It was this kind of courage that made him the Father of the Nation. That is how India got its freedom, through act of courage.

alt

Truth requires great courage. All of us know the story of Raja Harichandra. He possessed great courage to keep the truth. Even though he faced many tragedies, he did not give up the truth. His story was the great impact to the Mahatma Gandhi’s life.

To be honest you have to be very brave. If you have courage, you will always be honest. Courage comes from within. It comes from your own soul. It is your strength. Jesus Christ has said: “Those who carry their own crosses may follow me.”

alt

The history of the Sikhs speaks of the courage of their leaders, Guru Gobind Singh and Banda Bairagi. Guru Gobind Singh’s children were killed in front of his eyes. But he was not deterred

alt

Bairagi was tortured beyond measure, but he did not utter a word of protest or pain.

alt

If you want to get to the other side of the river, you must cross it. Standing on one bank doest not help. In the same way, be brave, be firm. You will be successful in whatever you attempt to do.
