Om Sai Ram

In 1910, Ramachandra V.Pathankar, a Retd. Clerk of Alibaugh was in distress. His monthly earnings of Rs.30/- was not sufficient to meet his family expenses. There was a certain photograph of Akkalkot Swami at Balkrishna Buva’s Mutt, Dadar that attracted him. He visited that Mutt often, as he was devoted to Swami Samarth. One day Ghansham Gupta, a close friend of his, asked Pathankar to accompany him to Shirdi. Although he attended Das Ganu’s Kirtan and Pravachan but he did not have faith in Baba. He thought that Baba was a Muslim. Insisting him to come Ghansham assured Pathankar that all his expenses for the trip would be borne by him. Pathankar was reluctant at first, and then he agreed to accompany Ghansham, on the condition that he wouldn’t give any Dakshina to Baba. If he did, it would be no more than one rupee. Ghansham agreed to this and both of them went to Shirdi. At that time, there was only one hotel in Shirdi. Unfortunately, Pathankar found a few worms in the dal when he was having lunch. He started shouting at the top of his voice. “Did I come all the way to Shirdi to eat worms?” he said. Then, both the friends went for Baba’s darshan. Baba, on seeing Pathankar, flew into a rage and drove him away. Pathankar was upset and decided to leave Shirdi, without Baba’s consent. The other devotees consoled him and asked him not to do so. Later both the friends went for Baba’s darshan again. Baba had calmed down and looking at Pathankar, He said, “Do people come here to eat worms?” On hearing this vital question, Pathanknr fell at Baba’s feet. He realized that Baba was omnipresent. Then, Baba gave him darshan as Akkalkot Swamy, the very same form that he worshipped at Balkrishna Buva’s Mutt. Pathankar was over whelmed and realized that Baba was not different from Swami Samarth. He gave Baba one rupee Dakshina. But Baba asked for Dakshina again. He gladly gave another rupee. Then Baba gave him permission to leave. Upon returning home, he got another job, which gave him a better salary, and he could live comfortably. Baba took two rupees Dakshina and gave back a hundred. Courtesy- Ambrosia in Shirdi
from the poetry of sand,
to the novels of clay,
a behemoth sleeps, constructed
by bricks,
the souls of many are locked
in there,
you can hear them moan
or cry
about the agony
of their futile convictions
Iron bars of righteous esteem,
radiate memories
of the killings and the murders
and the robberies,
then suddenly, they forgo sordid ignorance,
the theft of the mind,
they're at home,
yet convicts of their wrong doing
Now, their vicions are tainted
with blood,
and their peace has been
stolen by their own cruel actions,
rattled conscience!
their sins ressurrect as ghouls
to hover over them
and their future,
they shall know no rest
till the truth has been spoken.

No, my parents didn't pamper me,
it was I, who pampered myself
with ignorance;
I became a weakling at last,
devoid of knowledge and understanding
No, my parents did all I could do,
but I injected myself
with the vaccine of shortcomings,
a strong, hazardous drug
I mistook for free freedom
but this freedom was evil,
it made my brain and hands
lazy,
so I could do nothing
I was capable of doing
Then laughter comes from all sides
and stabs me ravenously,
tis nothing but my ignorance
that haunts me
like a ghost of my existence.

They are the kings and queens in the consumer market..
Child is the new customer, and the most effective one..
Studies indicate that children constitute around 25% of the total consumer market. Now that’s a huge figure..
Kids rulezz.. not only the market but watever they do..cute quotient works I gues..be it tv ads ..movies or daily soaps..everywhere they hit the bulls eye..
Do I need to quote examples.. ofcourse not.. m sure while reading u might have already thought about the tare zamin per or the balika vadhu kid..
Yest I saw a kid in pantaloons rolling over the floor and crying out loud to black mail maa-paa.. they got embarrassed and had to but him the soft toy he liked..
M not saying kids are at fault.. but the market is flooded with cuuute products.. be it toys.. water bottles.. school bags.. stationary.. gadgets.. they are all soo irresistable..
Gone are the days when kids would save every single penny they could collect to put into their cute piggybanks.. they black mail the parents and parent out of competition they give best to their kid surrenders..
How do u overcome the same?
Every individual in this world needs atleast one FRIEND in their life with whom they can share their problems. A true friend is a person, who is ready to help at any course of life , in any situation of life. Having this nature, a person named Nikhil walked into my life, firstly, like a stranger, but a true friend, later.
We studied in same college and completed our degree course of engineering. Although we studied in same college, we never saw each other or we never met accidently. We both got recruited by the same software company of pune which had came to our college but still, we didn't met. After we were called for training, finally, we met on the very first day of training. We became good friends very fast when we came to know that we are from same college, only the difference is of branch or stream. We were called for development training and helped each other whenever there was need of it.
During training , we met with other trainees which came from different regions of Maharashtra. We formed a very big group of 23 people and converted each and every second of training , as the training was very rigorous 24*7. We enjoyed every minute spent in training. We stayed late night in the company because of assignments completion, even stayed the whole night in office and went home at 6 or 7 AM in morning and again back at 11 AM in the office. Yes, those days were very tough yet very interesting.
After completion of training, we were shifted to main office premises. When we got shifted to main office, all faces were new except ours. Initially, we were few but later on, became huge group of friends. One day, we came across that we are allocated to different projects but still we stayed in touch either through company's messenger during work or during lunch. He got allocated to iPhone application project and myself to web application project. Yes, its true that when one person gets allocated to any project, he or she never has time for other activities. Actually, it depends on complexity level of project. Similar case was for myself. My project schedule was very tight but still we spared out time for fun activities like going for trekking, partying and many such. We pulled each other's leg whenever we got to pull. We never missed out on anything. We laughed in joy and took moments or situations seriously whenever it required to be taken.
Overall, being friends or rather good friends, we enjoyed our life in a very different way.
OUR FRIENDSHIP ROCKS !!! FRIENDS ARE FOREVER !!!
