The Air Chief mentioned that in his address that even some officers were wondering why Sachin should be conferred this honor when the very idea was mooted.The reason he cited was that IAF stands for all the qualities that Sachin epitomises.
Apart from the innumerbale awards that he has won and will be winning in future,it's love and respect that he has won from all sections of people of this country.
