Yes Kids use mobiles but in most of the cases they mis use it but it may be useful as it may be able to communicate with people. :)
My neighbor's two year old child loves ring tones and dances with mobile phone in hand. This looks very funny. He even changes the ring tone by up and down key.

Kids become happy when they hear mobile phones ringing.My kids become happy when they see photos on it.I am also against of giving mobile phones to kids but sometimes it becomes necessary to give them. :)
It appears that my next door neighbor kid does not like toys at all even at small age of less than two years. He will not like toy mobile phone. So, he has to be given some spare mobile phone that gives ring tone.

Some kids develop love for some particular items and musical tones. They get attracted toward these sounds more than any other sounds.[/quote]
