Now -a-days number of accidents happen in our country is increasing rapidly day by day. There should be a reason or few reasons behind this. Is this due to 1. Lack of infrastructure or 2. Careless Driving or 3. Not obeying traffic rules such as drunken drive, rash driving etc or 4. just a Fate or Destiny?

How can we find a solution for this. I will be the happiest person in the world, If i get more suggestions from you guys.

I have travel a lot and I think that most of time due to rashless driving people get into the accident. The Truck driver drives very fast and don't see who is there in front of them.
Some people get Drunk and drive and met with an accident.
RobertP, I think you have to mention accidents instead of incidents in the heading. then the heading will be suitable to the subject you have posted over here.

Most of the accidents are due to drunk driving and rash driving
I think the topic was discussed before itself. Robert just search the topic before posting.
yes, This is already discussed before, but more than 6 months before.
Since number of accidents increases rapidly in tamilnadu now-a-days especially school vehicles. Many buds (kids) life was destroyed while they went to school for enriching their knowledge. That is the main reason I have posted this Topic. I think it needs to be reviewed now. If this article create some awareness which may result in stopping just 1 accident, I will be much happy because human life is priceless. You cant purchase or get back ones life.
Accidents are happened because of our carelessness. We can avoid it.
In my opinion the main reason of accidents is the population as the number of vehicals have increased drastically in few years and increasing with high rate so there should be a check on it. Also driving after drinking is also the reason of the accidents. Not bothering for the traffic rules is also one of the reason of road accidents.
If all follow traffic rules and do not drive rash, all is okay. But the people- drivers- are not going to make you happy.
Increase in the population of vehicle is one of the major reason for increasing accidents. Instead of using own vehicles, we can use the public transport as much we can which results in less traffic. Not only less traffic, but also, the emission from the vehicles decreases which in turn reduces the pollution. It is much needed for human society. Part from these reasons, it is cost effective too.
For short distance, we can use bicycles. It is good for health too.

Using public transport is always better but in all the cities there is no such good services of the public transport that's why people are compelled to use their own vehicles so government must also think of it.

First of all follow the traffic rules while driving and don't use the road as if you are the only one driving. Most drivers seem to have utter disregard for traffic rules - they jump signals and overtake at blind corners and sometimes even when there in oncoming traffic from the opposite directions and go above the speed limits...
Using public transport won't be an efficient measure everywhere. But in the state like Tamilnadu where the public transport frequency is so good.

Even I think so in metro cities like Delhi the public transportation is good but imagine for the interior places where there is no public transportation available and even people have to walk to 2~3 Kms daily to commute from home.

In Delhi public transport is good but people also have to travel to bigger distance. In smaller places, people do not have to travel so much. In Delhi many people have to walk more than 2-3 KM to reach the bus stop/ metro station whereas in other places, their total travel is so much only.

Exactly!

I have gone to my village Khurja once by bus and I remember I had to wait for an hour for a bus to reach to the Bus stand when I was coming back to Delhi that was disgusting. Local people told that most of the public transports don't function after 6:30 Pm in the evening what a pity for people who come after 6:30 Pm there and don't have their own vehicles.
In interior where need to commute 2-3 kilometers a day, Bicycle can be used where it can be. This is eco-friendly and healthy. It makes us save the fuel for future generation as well

There is no option though except bi cycles because there we don't find petrol pumps too easily.
Accidents have nothing to do with fate and destiny. Number if accidents are increasing due to careless driving and careless walking on streets. Disobeying traffic rules is very often seen by the rash drivers and drunkards. We expect strick laws to be made against them.

This is ok.
I feel that the mind of the people are becoming criminal  days after days. They will hurt people on the streets even with the bicycles.
