My hubby use shoes without lace only.
He says, it's more easy to wear. Normally he choose 'BATA' brand

In south India people mostly use open sandals due to climate.

But he has to compulsory wear shoes in office

I know ICICI bank has dress code. Striped shirt and trousers with black shoes, other wise he would use wonne or one (that is known for white south Indian lungi if I remember right)

North Indians may use dhoti as well

My hubby has worked in ICICI bank before joining HDFC bank

HDFC bank has no dress code as I go to both banks daily. ICICI staff looks more impressive. :P

yet, they can't wear dhoti
Only executive dress

We consider our own Punjabi lungi as most executive dress for ourselves. We can dance, go out and sleep in the same. I have not mentioned some other exclusive jobs like going for farming etc. ;) :P

I love shoes with laces. They look great. They can be used for playing sports. :) :)
But persons who are always in a hurry may prefer without laces. Isn't it?

Ya, that's true, and even official people wear shoes without laces.
