    No these are Pension still there are lots of oldies that get 200-300 per month as i saw it myself ......

    Possibly, pension of Rs. 200/- P.M. was decided many years ago. Inflation has not been considered.

    Now the pension should be fixed at Rs. 1,000/- minimum with provision for dearness compensation based on consumer price index.

    You are right they should get at least Rs. 1000/ so that they can live at the level of BPL according to government policies.

    In my opinion it must be increased now a days we cannot get any thing with 200 rs.
