Yes it is ofcourse fill up ourselves with hug happiness when we find ourself helpful for parents or if we are capable for accomplishing their expectations. But due to difference in thinking it doesn't happen at all times.Sometimes we have to adjust and sometimes our parents adjust .

I liked this reply best. What Gulshanji has written here goes to show that wisdom he has gained by age and experiences.And i agree that unreasonable expectations are the root cause of sorrow in this world.
