Frankly I am a little disappointed with the response of a few members.In our cricket crazy nation the great deeds of true heroes go unnoticed and unapplauded!!!!Just think of his phenomenal achievement of one the greatest ever in chess.
India has only Cricket as its prestige.We lost many titles in Cricket than gain.Still it is cricket the mass game.Congrats to Mr.Anand.
Viswanathan Anand is poised to become a legend amongst the Chess Greats.But I am yet to hear the sending of congratulatory messages by the Prime Minister and President!

No praise is big enough for this true champion. But we are ignoring his achievements as we became blind followers of Cricket.
What I admire about him is his modesty.The Chess Greats are known to be very temperamental but just look at his face.A picture of modesty!
His really a gem of a genius and we should feel proud for such people being in India.
