Why merger of banks will not serve any purpose

The process has already started , in fact the smaller banks and financial institutes have already taken signed documents from their employees agreeing to the merger. One of my cousin works for a co operative bank that is also going to merge with SBI and she has already signed a consent letter/document and most of the people are happy because they get upgraded and get better pay structure and benefits ..

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!
