I read in a News paper due to the modernization our Child wants the things very fast.
They want a girlfriend or boy friend to morrow.
They want to know what is Enjoyment in sex, they want car, job, money everything before the time.
And by a Survey most of people said that Due to Internet their mind set has changed.
What is your opinion about This statement.
Is it responsible Of parents to stop them watching Porn, Playing Games, downloading movies or it is out of control from the parents as they can access all these things from college or cyber cafe also?
Not only child or youth but you can include old timers in that list.

First of all Change is the only permanent thing in life and we cannot hold it back. We cannot expect the present generation to live like the older generations and this kind of criticism will always be there by the older generation. To a certain extent it is true but when we think of the convenience and positive aspects one feels that the negative factors are negligible . Lifestyle chanhges are bound to be there and we have to accept and analyse it and also be prepared to deal with it depending on the situation...
Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

Whenever a change takes place, we cannot switch over to the new change easily. First we frown. Then fight and view with skepticism. It's but human nature. Over a period the new change becomes a part of our lives. Coming to the topic, the internet is spoiling the younger only is not true. It's spoiling elders too. At the same time it's showering benefits also on some. It means there are both beneficiaries and losers also. If one knows how to use internet and and How not to use it so that one gets the best of both the worlds, there is no problem.

I read in a News paper due to the modernization our Child wants the things very fast.It is ignorance of parents/ guardians over use of internet which is destroying child. There are many passive observation modules such as use of parental control, standard account, and many others which can block or watch internet behavior. Now a days with advent of mobile os it is important to carefully observer child's internet behavior.

Internet viewing and possibility of children being spoiled can be reduced with many net tools like Parental control. Parents should know about this in order to control the ill effects of internet on children.

No doubt children get to know the taboo topics like sex much earlier. But this is about children in teens. The very small children are more interested in cartoon movies. Teenage is very tender age as this is transitional period from childhood to youth. Therre is no harm if boys and girls gets sex knowledge in this period. Internet is certainly useful in this regard. Girls and even boys with some knowledge of sex- howsoever little- have moe protection against probable sex abuse/ rape.

Scientific sex knowledge with the supervision of elders is welcome and essential. The problem is with perverted pornography. Parents can prevent the children from viewing such pornography with the viewing controls available on the net.

Parents can definitely guide their children. The children should be encouraged more for study and outdoor games. Internet and TV addiction is also making even small children obese and unhealthy. .

Children sitting before the computer or TV for hours together will make them sedentary . Sedentary life is the starting point for scores of health hazards.

I belong to the cyber age yes..and I find most of the information i need at my finger tips ..thanks to Internet..thanks to google.
But, as a we grow we feel that the upcoming generation is getting more and early exposure to technology for no reason. Before i comment anything on the news piece that you have shared, let me pose a question..why on earth do we need wi-fi enabled schools? To make use of the wi-fi or Internet connection children also need laptops, notebooks, tabs, and of course a smart phone. Children get ready made answers to everything and fail to use their brains.
I am sure most of us did go to good schools where we didn't require Internet to look for additional information. Books were all we referred to. But, because various schools by now make it a mandate to use Internet to work on school projects etc we cannot stop children from using Internet. I believe children should not be exposed to Internet at least in schools unless it is absolutely necessary. At home children should be allowed to use only under strict parental guidance and for a limited time span. At the same time parents should be open to listen and communicate (two-way) to explains sensitive issues to children so that they don't depend on Internet for answers. After all we really cannot control children 24X7 but can help minimize the negative impact of using internet.
