No, I don't think pornographic site should be blocked in India or else where. Porn industry is a huge sector in foreign countries and people working are called as porn stars. It's like an industry. There is no harm in watching such sites.
To teenagers and kids if good counselling sessions are given then they for sure will never go after these sites. Fear in the heart of parents symbolizes that there's something wrong the way their kids have been brought up. If one is sure about their upbringing I don't think any sort of pornographic site or violence related stuff will deviate their kids.

Yes America is not the perfect haven for women that everyone thinks it is. I saw a documentary about American women who willingly join the porn industry, just to make a quick buck. But many of them confessed that they later regret their decision. And many of these women are addicted to drugs and alcohol.
There are many Christian groups in America who wants to shut down the porn industry.
The America that they show in Movies and TV are not the real America. It shows only the life styles of New York and LA, not the small towns. In small towns they are still very conservative about sex.

Another interesting thing about the American porn industry is that it is mainly dominated by women. Most of the porn directors, producers and of course actresses are female. So no one could say that females are victims of this industry. Everything happens with legal consent.

Vulgarity is like a state of mind. If one wishes to find vulgarity they can find it in serials like Ramayana and Mahabharatha too. If children are learning more from t.v. and are getting influenced then it means there exists a flaw in the way they have been brought up. Instead of blaming t.v. and other media, parents have to search and bring into consideration some other modes which will help in a good upbringing of their children.
