What is the Religion of God?

Religion has undergone a lot of changes down the line and many of the older religious practices have completely disappeared.Hence , Hinduism is probably the only existing religion today that is still thriving and practiced. But it does not necessarily mean that other religions took their birth from Hinduism except off shoots like Sikhism,Buddhism and Jainism !

Indian society was quite influential in ancient times. It was the most sought after trade destination so chances are there might be some kind of influence on other cultures. And all the major religions started in Asia.

Human beings have shaped their gods exactly as they want him or her to be - an aggressive, dominating,power hungry creature perpetually wanting adulation and attention and when not given this, he is ready to curse and destroy you ! sounds more like our power hungry leaders from all sections of society !

A person's beliefs are his personal choice. If he like to believe in a supernatural being in the sky who will always look after him and take care of his problem, then it's his belief. But if a person believes in himself then he will take responsibility for his problem and work on a solution to resolve it.
