It is good to know that the hollywood crowd is much more aware than our lot who only think about themselves and their own importance. Earlier in the fifties and sixties , apparently Raj Kapoor and other stars and singers would have a day for our jawans, when the stars would spend time with them, entertaining them and generally showing their solidarity...but now the day would be spent in front of the cameras making more money through ads...

I wanted to say, though these stars are small statured as far as their status is concerned, their large heart made them noble. Where as these highly placed stars are self- centered and always busy in projecting their images forgetting their responsibility to the society which gave them status and success.

Actor Surya Hosted the program ' 'Neengalum Vellalam Oru Kodi'. Now it is being hosted by Actor Prakash Raj. Agaram foundation helps a lot for eduction of the poor and needy,

Now i remember, the first to have started such philanthropic deeds was the great MGR. He used to distribute rain coats to the rickshaw pullers in Chennai, well before he entered politics.

I agree all are not the same, Sunul Dutt was a gentleman actor, highly respected and very socially conscious and there are not many like him in the film industry, also Nana Patekar who is another actor who is different and I too had heard that he had enroled himself in the army and rendered his services during the war, am not sure in what capacity ..
