I once heard somewhere.....never make promises in over excitement at both the occasions - overflowing emotions of sadness or happiness, as it's very difficult to keep such promises :unsure: :unsure: . I feel, it's true. What's your opinion? Also, tell me have you ever faced such situations, failing to keep promises done in excitemnet :silly: :blink: :blink: :sick: :dry:

You have full right to disagree with me but I can't help it. I see most of the promises go dishonored so I am taking promises in that way. You cannot understand my mentality unless you meet me. :)

But there are situations too when we can't keep our promises and break them and that too may be for good reasons. :) :blink: :blink:
Suppose some one made a promise and later found it not worth keeping, what is bad about it if broken. I like it that way. Not keeping a bad promise is better than keeping it to give a bad result at a later stage.

When I studied my +2 my friend told one secret. I did not tell the secret to any body. But just commented something when all are there. she scolded me for do that.
When you talk to any outsider, be very specific and serious. If you are talking to your near and dear ones you can be in joking mood that hardly hampers your prestige. Promises should be made to your dear ones. This is so because you can try your level best in commiting it.
