Yes from the word "trust", I remember one incident.
A man ususally send gifts to teenage girl expressing his love for her. Few days later she went missing. She was kidnapped and killed. I think you should not accept gifts from stangers and believe them blindly. Gifts can be a trap.

not like that I am saying. Every man is expecting something from other man. It is human nature. We wish to share also "He did this for me " "That for me".

I believe if in a relationship giving and taking gifts matters a lot then I would call it "Materialistic Love". Though sometimes just to show your affection towards a person giving gifts is absolutely fine.
