Gifts may be given with or without love, for getting nothing in return or expecting many things. Do you believe gifts increase the bond????
What's your opinion?

I feel gift is like adding masala for noodle in the same way it adds masala to the relation ship
nice example
Masala or pepper to a relation :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
I still don't think it effect, its trust which make relationship strong.
Yes from the word "trust", I remember one incident.
A man ususally send gifts to teenage girl expressing his love for her. Few days later she went missing. She was kidnapped and killed. I think you should not accept gifts from stangers and believe them blindly. Gifts can be a trap.

Never.. We should never accept any gift from stranger.
it is expressing our true love.. They are enjoying when receiving.
Do you mean those who don't exchange gifts don't love each other truly?.
not like that I am saying. Every man is expecting something from other man. It is human nature. We wish to share also "He did this for me " "That for me".

Expectations...Expectations....
Expecting something from someone is not good I won't consider it love if the person you love expects something from you.
I believe if in a relationship giving and taking gifts matters a lot then I would call it "Materialistic Love". Though sometimes just to show your affection towards a person giving gifts is absolutely fine.
True, a very nice definition of making gifts whether for a purpose or out of love. I appreciate your take on this subject. :)

I am agree with you and giving and taking can spoil the relationship in future.

Giving gifts is a formality. No relation depends on gifts or increase the bond of the relation. But we can proudly say to others by showing the gifts that our friends, or father or mother or siblings etc whoever given us , they gave us with lot of affection and love on us.
Giving gifts is one type of showing relation with someone. Yes, now it has become formality.
Gifts does not hold a relation. To hold a relation love and understanding is necessary.Gifts are shared to someone in all occasion. But we should not think of return one.If there is love that is a big gift for us.
I never like an idea to exchange gifts for me relation should be effected by gifts as one should understand it that all are not same financially someone may be good to give expensive gifts to his closed one and on the other hand someone may not be capable of giving him/her the gifts so better not to exchange gifts. :)
