Slow and Steady Wins the Race.

I want to say that we should read once all holy books. There is nothing wrong there.
We fight with each other due to this. You know there are many example of communal riot. Actually they don't know the actual meaning of it.

Relation with God and spirituality are very personal and intangible. It is not feasible to define this in words. Religion also governs marriage, marital relations, succession of property etc. This is part of law and people follow this.

Moreover, God,soul and spirituality are not necessarily limited to particular religion. Let me refer to Theosophical society of India that discusses spirituality and various such issues not limited to any religion. The institution was founded by Annie Beasant, former Congress President.

Religions can influence us a lot. That's what i tried to convey you people through another thread

yes you are right. But religion is not much important as now in this generation there is lot of importance.

Religion is more a community than a faith. Only Hindu Pandits, Muslim Maulvis and Christian clergy are professional preachers of religion or Dharma. Rest are simply sheepishly following what is tole- good or bad.

Morality based on religion does not work. We need a new morality based on human values and social needs.

I 100% agree "Morality based on religion does not work". Yet I believe religions show us easy paths to follow dharma :)
