Good things should not be shared before it happens.

Yes,i also have such type of beliefs in my mind. But,its not true. We all know that,but still there is a hint of afraidness in our mind that stops us.

It depends on that person,how he thinks. I would suggest,it better let the good things happen and then you reveal it. what's the hurry ?

Sandhya,there is no scientific theory behind it,its just our inner afraidness,that stops us sharing or revealing.

Let me interpret for you SANDHYA,

Any good thing creates excitement and stimulates our brain. Sharing may relieve us from that excitement and which may spoil the good thing to happen as our brain may not stimulate...how is it.. :P :)

We will be tempted to reveal it.I had kept a news for two months in mind!!!

Abid I think you are very deep hearted person but I never keep anything in mind. I reveal what ever i do to my closed friends and parents

Personally I don't believe in such thing. I always share my every good thing with my family and friends.. And its not like i faced obstacles for them.

There is no certainty. But robust sense of self confidence and management often helps you a lot. I appeared in departmental exam. I was very sure and if any one asked me, I would tell that i shall pass. Many told me not to say anything before result. However, I passed with flying colors.

But there are many slips between cup and lip. What you plan could be disrupted by unforeseen events. So, it is better not to express anything beforehand.

i cant give you a scientific reason but my reason may be reasonable for you.
good things should not be shared before it happens because of two reason-
1)if by chance you will not be able to accomplish it then you might feel bad as that time you have to answer many people whom you told and its human tendency that they feel bad when they get fail infront of many.
2)It might be because some people think that other people will put some barrier in their path
