Why do you propose to change them? Law is a dynamic subject and it is never static evolving with the evolution of society. Unless we need to change them ,none should advocate any change.

My opinion is that if anything should be changed at all, it should be the government! I want to see a government that is not partial to any communities and is not at all hesitant to put the convicted on the gallows! I mean what sense does it make to spend thousands of rupees daily merely to keep a terrorist alive in jail??

yes, this really bad thing that government is doing. Instead of spending crores of money on Kasab they can make alot of changes in our India and even they can develop India and make it as second USA in the world

your idea of government is a bit far fetched.i agree that should be the case...but it will never be..not in india and also not in any country in the world...
keeping a terrorist alive is not acceptable..there should be special provisions for speedy trials or more judges should be appointed to solve the lagging cases.

Some governments are, indeed, run by fools! European debt crisis is the product of collective foolishness of some governments!

No deepoak, it is not far fetched, but it is rational and practical. But only in India is where irrationality and impracticality found, which is why we spend hundreds of thousand on Kasab and throw mere peanuts at people like ones affected by Bhopal Gas Tragedy!   In a country like US or China, Kasab would have been immediately executed once his interrogations were over! Here we are feeding hims dum biryanis and chicken and meat!

The Indian constitution is a mindless constitution. They unnecessarily spend alot of money on unnecessary person like kasab. There is no use of kasab being alive for India. That he is a person who killed alot of people in India , so for such a person we are spending more money for his life. This is really injustice
