Why should a state government celebrate birthday of Tipu Sultan or be it any king or emperor of past who ruled India. Why not it should be rest with people who want to celebrate. All governments are secular debar of any religious politics then why should Karnataka government is persisted in doing this I failed to understand. All these are mere stunts for generating vote bank politics.

They can any thing for vote. You remember issue of changing name of Auranzed road in Delhi at the name of Dr. Kalam.
Some parties want to bring in such issues which are communal to the core and pretend as if they are secular and Tipus issue is one that is similar ..Tipu was a notorious ruler known for his cruelty and extreme fanatic views regarding his religion and now some people want us to believe that he was a freedom fighter and a patriot! I guess they think everybody around them is stupid and blind like they are with regard to certain issues !
Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!
